Mother's Day in May

Yes, we have mother's day in May in Peru and as usual Shalom pulled out all the creative stops to present an all singing, all dancing afternoon of fun and laughter together.

No celebration complete without a large decorated cake.

In Nazareno we went out for an afternoon of 'retail therapy' Lima style, visiting a local shopping centre. We kept loosing people which added to the fun and gave us more time to look around!

A few wet days in July

Hi there

In the UK and looking at the rain and realising I have been here for a couple of months and seen quite a few friends in link churches but haven't done well in keeping up this space. Not always easy to get onto the internet or have time whilst travelling around to be posting news.

So lets see what happened in Peru before I left ......and then what has been happening here since arrival...

April saw Easter celebrations and as always a busy week of activities.
