Another memorable day!

Another birthday loomed and was celebrated and was quite significant! I will say no more!

A fancy breakfast a couple of days earlier, morning coffee on the day and an all singing, all dancing party in Shalom with 'La hora Loca' Mad Hour, with all the children and families.

It was a good day!

Nazareno Anniversary

As the weeks go by so quickly and there have been so many different activities I had forgotten a few. The church at Nazareno celebrated another year of ministry with a street party, games, activities and food.

It was a fun afternoon especially the games.

'Wheels for the World'

This week a team from the New Mexico branch of 'Joni and friends' joined a team gathered from churches here in Lima to give out wheelchairs and other equipment to those living with various physical disabilities. Once again I was translating and also once again I was convicted by God that this is where his heart is and that we need to minister and encourage these people.

The week of 22 - 26th November we are partnering with a physical therapy team from MMI, Mision Medical International, to provide therapy sessions and also give out wheelchairs and aids. People from MMi were able to meet with the Joni and friends coordinators to see how best we can work together in the future and serve more effectively combining areas of expertise and resources.
