Light Party!

Wednesday 31st saw over 80 children gather in Jesus El Nazareno church to celebrate "Jesus the Light of the world".

We began with collage work of the memory verse John 8:12,

making light glasses/eye masks and face painting

and making lanterns.

This was followed by singing, games, prizes, a drama and finally a bag of popcorn, sweets, fizzy drink and biscuits - great diet!! We had planned to show a DVD but time escaped us and it wasn't possible.

Thankfully many young people and teenagers came to help and we hired a sound system so had a microphone which helped a great deal with organising and controling everything.
