Youth Alpha
Well, we finally came to the end of the Youth Alpha course last Saturday, celebrating with a youth service and then a party. It has really been an excellent time with the leaders becoming more confident and seeing God at work in their lives and with the encouragement of seeing many young people come along faithfully each week to the group.
In the session "How to resist evil", there was an activity making armour out of newspaper, Ephesians 6.
The ten leaders took turns to give the talks with the powerpoint presentaions and they we always ready to volunteer and take part.
The youth group will continue to meet on Saturday's, on 22nd there is a Diocesan youth festiaval so all will participate in that event and then we shall begin another course, probably using the Emmaus material.
