Sunday Baptisms and Anniversary celebration
In a full and overflowing church last night we celebrated the church anniversary and 8 baptisms. It was rather a squashed and damp, but thoroughly enjoyable time together, and following the service we continued with the celebrations in sharing snacks and a cake together with more music and activities.
I was Godmother to Sixto, a young man from the music group, and then went on to baptised the 7 remaining people, two adults and 5 children. Father John Park, Dean from the Good Shepherd Cathedral, accompanied us and celebrated the communion, his wife Susan also visiting. Melany, Etelvina's daughter, celebrated her first communion. I was able to read two messages, one from the Bishop and another from the Bishop's wife, congratulating us on the anniversary and informing us of the Bishop's progress, still slow with further problems of infection.
