Cooking in Shalom

On Friday we had a demonstation of the "caja maravilla' in Shalom. This is a system of cooking using two cushions filled with polysterene. The principle is rather like the old 'hay box' where you prepare the food in the normal way and then once boiling thoroughly is transfered between the 2 cushions. I had been telling the women about it but it wasn't until we cooked something that they saw the effect and realised how this could help them be more efficent in the home and also save gas.
